"Give me some sugar, baby..."

I was about ready to tell Iain about my unusual customer the other day....

"Hold that thought," Iain says to me.

A fair maiden stands alone in the corner of the tavern .  Iain buys her a Blackberry Cordial.

"Give me some sugar, baby!"

Mr. Hancock has interesting taste in women.
"Sorry, I don't have any sugar Mister..."

Iain comes back to where I was sitting. "As I was saying...."

After finishing our meals we leave the tavern to head back to our rooms for the night.  A con artist was waiting for us outside but did not get anything from us.

Some other character approached us and wanted to barter, but we had nothing to trade for.

The next person we meet on the street is a wealthy merchant with a body guard.

I must have said something he didn't like because he ordered his body guard to attack. The wealthy gentleman disappeared behind a building.

Before his weapon could make contact with me, I hit him with my sword and he went down.
I searched his body and found some food and 3 pieces of gold.

"I just saw what happened here." A voice came from around the corner of a building. "How would you like to do some work for me?" said the nobleman.

A nobleman and his two body guards appear.

Lt Beigel and the "City of Long Beach"

Having escaped from Stalag 13, Lt Dick Beigel has been re-issued a newly arrived B17 that he has named "City of Long Beach." He is awaiting further orders...

He was last heard saying, " I can't wait to pound those Nazi bastards again!"

He then walked to the base mess hall, and ordered a enchilada, no onions.

The Scenic 78 - Day 6, The Bleens

Mrs. Bleen and her three daughters were driving home from an errand when she became distracted by the walking dead. She served and hit a post. Nobody was hurt. She was surrounded by zombies until we showed up.

I stopped the pickup on the opposite side of the street. We jumped out with guns blazing.

Immediately Dick killed a zombie with his bolt action rifle and Eddie got one with his assualt rifle.

I ran over to the Bleens. Two zombies were coming down the street. A blast from my shotgun only knocked them down. In a minute or so they were advancing again.

The undead are hard to kill.

Knocking down the two zeds gave us enough time to get to the truck. I was the last to get in. Dick started the truck and was ready to drive.  As I was attempting to get around the truck to get in the passenger seat, two more zombies advanced on me.

Before they could reach me I gave them a blast from my shotgun.

Hot lead only knocked them down!

Instead of continuing over to the passenger side I hopped on to the truck and told Dick to, "Drive!!"

Another close one.

After this encounter, Eddie decided he couldn't handle it any more and left our group.
